Cladding Seal Installation Guide

Installation of Intumescent Cladding Seals

Fitting self adhesive cladding seal types:

Remove the release paper from the back of the strip: the strip can then be positioned in the required position on the face of the sheathing board and on top of any breathable membrane.

Tacks should be hammered along the centre line of the exposed face of the strip at approximately 250mm intervals to secure the seal in position.

The seal should be cut to the required length with a sharp knife and strip ends be butted together at the joins.
