Intumescent Fire Door Seals
Product Description:
Intumescent fire only or fire-smoke seal encapsulated in a PVC surround which is designed for fitting into a rebate to either the frame or the door itself. On reaction to fire the seal will start to expand at around 125°c to many times its original volume and thus seal the gap around the door to frame and provide an effective barrier against fire, smoke and hot gases.
Intuchem Intumescent Fireseals are available with or without a nylon pile which acts as a cold smoke seal. This smoke seal provides a permanent barrier to smoke, which is particularly important as smoke travels faster and further than fire itself.
Intuchem fire door seals come complete with self-adhesive backing tape to facilitate quick and easy fitting. They are available in Brown or White, other colours on request
Tested for 30 minutes with 10mm and 15mm to BS 476 part 22 & 31.1. Certifire Approved. Tested for 60 minutes with 20mm 25mm to BS 476 part 22 & 31.1.
Smoke Seal to 100,000 cycle test.
Available as 2100mm lengths or as a pre-pack containing 2x2.1M and 1x1.05m lengths. If an Acoustic requirement is also necessary fit Intuchem Perimeter and Door Bottom Acoustic stop seals.
